Ownership
Transfer admin control to a new wallet, or permanently remove all admin access.
Before you start
- The current token owner wallet connected
Connect the current owner wallet
Only the current token owner can transfer or renounce ownership. Connect that specific wallet.
Option A: Transfer to a new owner
To hand control to another wallet — for example a multisig, a new team member, or a DAO — paste the new owner's wallet address and click "Transfer Ownership". The new wallet immediately gains full admin access including tax, limits, blacklist, and all other owner-only functions.
New Owner Wallet Address
Double-check this address — the transfer is immediate with no confirmation from the new owner
Always verify the new owner address by sending a small test transaction first to confirm you control it. A wrong address means permanent loss of admin access.
Option B: Renounce ownership permanently
If you want to prove to your community that no one — including you — can ever change the token's settings again, click "Renounce Ownership". This sets the owner to the zero address. All admin functions (tax changes, blacklist, mint, etc.) become permanently disabled.
What renouncing means
• No one can ever change tax rates again. • No one can ever blacklist wallets. • No one can ever pause transfers. • Contract settings are permanently frozen. • Your community has complete assurance nothing will change.
Renouncing ownership is irreversible. Once done, you permanently lose the ability to manage the token — even if you regret it, even if there is an emergency. Renounce only when the token is fully configured and you are 100% ready.
